Mullinahone Gun Club

E-mail Print PDF

Welcome to our club web site.

As one of the oldest affiliated gun clubs in South Tipperary the club is proud of its tradition.Today Mullinahone Gun Club(MGC) continues the tradition of game conservation, game rearing, vermin control, clay pigeon shooting and other community projects.

This is a very busy time of the year for the club. All new games stocks are now in place and doing well. Members have been busy with all the associated tasks involved in the rearing of game. Pen repairs, pond maintenance and and clay pigeon grounds have kept the core group of working members busy on many a summers evening to date.

We would like to thank all those who continue to support the club in their own time. There are still a number of tasks that need to be completed as quickly as possible so if you have some spare time to spend outdoors please contact any club officer who will be only delighted with an extra pair of willing hands.

INSURANCE / MEMBERSHIP
“ I am pleased to say that all members renewed their respective insurances and membership fees before the due date, even if one or two had to be chased down and threatened with physical injury………..

This years membership has remained steady with a number of new faces joining our ranks. Can I appeal to those who are not active to become more involved with the club. We do not mind taking your cash annually but how about getting some value for money and using the facilities available. We could also do with some help on occasions!. It would be a pity to have to place a financial levy on those who do not get involved with the day to day running of the club. Why should all members reap the rewards when only a few do the workmullinahone old gun club

The club web page is getting good press and shooters are using it to keep abreast of shoots and results etc.
Go to www.Mullinahone.net and click on the Gun club link in the clubs & associations menu.

Newsflash

"And I wouldn't much care for Sierra Leone, If I hadn't seen Killenaule
And the man that was never in Mullinahone,
Shouldn't say he had travelled at all."
