Tipperary's Paul Curran is yet to find out how serious the injury that he picked up in the Munster SHC Final win over Clare is and when he might be able to return.
The determined full-back was forced off just before the half-time break after colliding with Clare forward Mark Flaherty and damaging his shoulder.
While there were initial concerns that he might have suffered a similar injury to that of team-mates Hugh Maloney and Conor O'Mahony, he has revealed that it is already improving.
The Mullinahone clubman will have to be assessed by team physio John Casey and he will be hoping for a positive outcome as The Premier County maintain their assault on the Liam McCarthy Cup.
"I tried to catch a ball after that and dropped it," explained Curran.
"I didn't have full movement in my shoulder which was a hindrance. I couldn't risk staying on.
"I had it in a sling on Sunday night but that was more to stop lads hitting me.
"It's certainly not as bad as the problems that Hugh and Conor had had. Even now, I'm getting movement back in it and it's improving all the time."
