E-mail Print PDF
There was great delight in the club this week with Paul Curran awarded the player of the year accolade. Paul is a very valued and admired player in our club and his commitment to his club both at senior and juvenile level has made him a very popular and worthy winner. It also a very proud moment for his parents Albert and Rita, his brothers Niall,Alan and Sean and his sister Sarah who are all very active in our club. Paul will receive his award at a gala night in Hotel Minella this Saturday night. Tickets at a cost of €50 each which includes a four course meal and a live band are available through the South Board . Newly elected Chairman Dick Egan will help you with any questions you may have regarding the awards. A great night is expected by all.

Newsflash

"And I wouldn't much care for Sierra Leone, If I hadn't seen Killenaule
And the man that was never in Mullinahone,
Shouldn't say he had travelled at all."
