Another All Ireland Medal

E-mail Print PDF

Well done to Nicole Shelly of Clonagoose.  On Saturday Aug. 3rd in  Portlaoise Nicole was part of the Tipp U-16 camogie panel which defeated Galway 4-06 to 2-08 in the All Ireland -16A camogie final.  Earlier in the campaign. Tipp had overcome Clare, Kilkenny and Dublin.  Nicole is the only daughter of Johnny and Alaco Shelly.  She is part of a very sports orientated family. Nicole plays her club comogie with  Ballingarry. We hope to see Nicole follow in the footsteps of Aoife Neary of Cois na hAbhainn who led Kilkenny to the All Ireland senior camogie final on Sat.  last as well as scoring the winning goal.
