The Fionn Mac Cumhaill players present their latest play “The Kins of Kilburn High Road” in Cloneen Hall on Saturday Feb. 1st at 8pm. Admission is only €10. Booking is advisable as the show is only on for one night in Cloneen. Book at 083-1355762. Other performances will be staged in Clonacody House; Fethard on Feb. 7th and 8th. Admission €20, but food is included. Booking only on 087-1689167. The other 3 performances will be in the Clubhouse, Kilkenny on Feb. 5th and 6th and in the Source, Thurles on Feb. 13th. The story of the play is the story of six young men who left Ireland in 1975 to make their fortunes on the buildings in London. The action takes place in a pub in Kilburn 25 years later when 5 of the 6 gather to remember the 6th one who is now dead. Three of the five leading characters are played by 3 Mullinahone men Pat Egan, John Leahy and Eugene O’Meara. This is a play well worth attending.
