Coaching Course

The Juvenile GAA Foundation Coaching Course begins on this Wed. night January 29th. The venue is the GAA Hall and the course lasts from 7pm to 10pm. Night 2 of the course will be on Fri. night January 31st same hours and the course concludes on Wed. night week Feb. 5th.

Ladies Football Time

Under 16 Ladies Football recommences on Tuesday night next Feb. 4th at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome especially new players. Come along to get fit and meet new friends. Venue is the GAA hall.

Local Lotto

The last local lotto draw took place on Mon. Jan. 20th. The numbers drawn were 1,5,21 and 25. There was no jackpot winner, but 5 match 3 winners shared €150. Congrats to Kevin Fitzpatrick, Triona Cleary, Jessica Cuddy, Miriam O’Keeffe and Margaret Skehan. Next draw on Mon. Feb.3rd when the jackpot could be worth €2,350.

Mullinahone Community Text Alert is now up and running. Please note the contact number is 0504-25100.

GPS Service

There is a plan to add GPS to the text service. This would mean that emergency services using sat.nav. could find their way directly to houses in the area if the house were included on the GPS map. This service could save valuable time in the event of an emergency.

Fab Fitness Classes

Are back in the Knocknagow Community Hall, Mullinahone at 9.30am each Monday morning and in Ballingarry at 7.30pm on Thursday evenings.

Kings of Kilburn

The Fionn Mac Cumhaill players present their latest play “The Kings of Kilburn High Road” in Cloneen on Saturday Feb. 1st booking 083-21355762, in Clonacody House, Fethard on Feb. 7th and 8th booking only 087-1689167, also Clubhouse, Kilkenny on Feb. 5th and 6th and finally in The Source, Thurles on Feb. 13th. Locals involved in this story of Irish building workers in London are Eugene O’Meara, John Leahy, and Pat Egan. A play not to be missed.
