Summer Book Bus

Improve your child’s reading by bringing them along to the Summer Book Bus in the Church Car Park on Tuesdays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm starting Tuesday next, July 8th for 6 weeks. A clown will be there on the first day. As the County Library only picks 3 villages in the county in which to run this scheme, it is important that you support this facility if you want to keep it in Mullinahone.

Local Lotto

The last local lotto jackpot draw took place on Monday 23rd June. The numbers drawn were 7,15,24 and 27. There was no jackpot winner, but we had 3 match 3 winners. Congrats to Josephine O’Meara, Frances Tobin and Angela Holden who shared the Match 3 prize of €150. Next draw will be on Monday, 7th July, when the jackpot could be worth €5,700. To win, you have to be in.

History Book Patronage

C.J. Kickhams GAA Club will publish a history of their club 1885 – 2012 in August. Many locals who played with their club are remembered. Other families might like to be remembered and be associated with the history. You can do this by becoming a patron of the book at a cost of €50. The names of all patrons will be recorded in the book and they will also receive a free copy. Perhaps, some family members, now away from Mullinahone might like to be included. Let them know about this opportunity as soon as possible, as time is running out. Contact any officer of the club or a member of the book committee.

Congratulations Poulacapple N.S.

Well done to Poulacapple NS who recently raised their 4th Green Flag (Travel Flag).

Visiting Clonmel Hospital

The list of patients is no longer available to priests visiting St. Josephs Hospital Clonmel (Sth. Tipperary General). If you wish a priest to visit a patient there, you need to inform the priest ,who is in St. Josephs and what room they are in. Our priest cannot call to see a patient , if he doesn’t know the patients who are there.
