Therapy Centre Approved

Therapy Centre Approved

The Complementary Therapy Centre at Modeshill, Mullinahone has been approved as an ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) training centre. The centre which is run by Liam and Lil Whelan will give people the opportunity to train to internationally recognised standards.


The centre is currently enrolling people for the following diplomas: reflexology, massage, anatomy and physiology. Of particular interest to the local sporting communities is the chance to train as a sports injury therapist. This diploma in sports massage will commence in January 2008.

Tomorrow, Thursday is the feast of All Saints. Masses on Thursday in St Michael’s at 9.30am and 11.30am. The vigil Mass for All Saints will be on Wednesday evening, October 31 at 8pm. Friday is the Feast of All Souls and is also first Friday. Masses on Friday at 10am and 8pm. Confessions before and after each Mass. House calls also on Friday .


Next weekend’s anniversary Masses are on Saturday, November 3 at 8pm, anniversary of Breda and William Power, Ballycullen; Sunday, Novmeber 4 anniversary 11.30am Billy Maher, Newlands.
