Wet, Wet, Wet

Everyone knows that locally January was a wet month. In some weather reports over the weekend it was stated that the weather in January was the wettest since the 1970’s.

However, this was not the case in Mullinahone. In 1996 the total of 223.4mm on 25 days made it the wettest January since records began locally. This year’s rainfall locally was the fourth wettest January on local records
