Broadband for Mullinahone

E-mail Print PDF

At long last Mullinahone appears to be making advances into the technological age with the enabling of the Mullinahone telecom exchange for broadband being penciled in for the first quarter of 2009. On my last enquiry in September, I was informed that the nearest possible date was not in the next 12 months but yesterday a list of the exchanges to be enabled for broadband was published.

This will make the updating of the website more straight forward and quicker and enable the website to grow with an introduction of Videos of Mullinahone and larger files for downloading which would not be possible on a slow dial up connection. Below is a list of the next exchanges to be enabled.

Q1= January to March and no indication of when but hopefully the sooner the better.

Newsflash

"And I wouldn't much care for Sierra Leone, If I hadn't seen Killenaule
And the man that was never in Mullinahone,
Shouldn't say he had travelled at all."

poet. C.J. Boland
