Patronage for History Book

Mullinahone C.J.Kickham’s GAA Club will publish a history of their club 1885-2012 in August. Many local people who played a part in the club down through the years are remembered as the story of our club is told. Some people who never kicked a ball, but supported the club might also like to be remembered. They can do this by becoming patrons of the history book at a cost of €50. The names of all patrons will be recorded in the book and they will also receive a free copy of the history. Perhaps, some of your family members who are living away from Mullinahone might like to become patrons. Please let them know about this opportunity. Contact any member of the history book committee or club officer if you wish to become a patron.

Congratulations Eddie

Congratulation to local Independent County Councillor, Eddie O’Meara. At the first meeting of the Carrick-on-Suir area meeting of the County Council, Eddie who is starting his fourth term as a Councillor was elected area chairman. Eddie’s goal during this term is the retention of local services and even their expansion. It is important that such services as Health, Education, Postal Services, Garda presence and Local Businesses are retained. You can help by calling into our post office to sign a petition to retain that service in Mullinahone.
